Getaway at Club Manila East

If it’s an exciting getaway that you want, you will definitely experience it in Club Manila East. It does not matter what age or size you are, this hotel-resort have everything that you are looking for in a great getaway. It is also great for groups and individuals that are looking for ways to spend long weekends and even a quick stress-busting out of town R&R.

Club Manila East (CME) is located at Km. 24 Manila East Road, Taytay, Rizal. It’s just a 1-2 hour drive from the major cities in the Metro like Pasig, Manila, Marikina and Taguig. There is also Club Manila East in Real Quezon and Boracay, but the one that we will talk about is their Taytay, Rizal Resort.

Their rates are also competitive since it’s only 375 pesos for adults and children below 3 feet are free of charge. You can also use their picnic area for free, but if you want other accommodations, they offer pavilions for 50 pesos, BeachView cabins for 700, huts for 700, and cabanas for just 1,500 pesos. Just remember some of their house rules: wear proper swimming attire if you want to use the pools, and foods and drinks are not allowed inside their premises, there are available foods and beverages inside that you can buy.

One of their attractions is the Funtasy Lagoon, get it? FUNtasy. This manmade lagoon is a gigantic pool with some amenities like water bicycles and kayaks. That is just one of their pool that I found very amusing especially for kids. I also loved the Ocean wave pool that imitates the waves of the sea. I liked it very much because I feel that children are safer with these kinds of facilities compared to real open sea where you can be bitten by jellyfish and others accidents are more prone to happen.

CME also has their Buzzy River which is perfect for riding rubber tubes and enjoying the serene sounds of flowing water. If you want to be a superhero just for a day, you can try their zip line which is a recent addition to their amenities. The best thing about this place that I liked the most is that the whole resort complex is well maintained. And that is not an easy job because the whole resort is a 7-hectare complex with many amenities.
